Seward’s Folly Russian Imperial StoutSeward’s Folly Russian Imperial Stout is a limited-release beer produced by the Forty-Ninth State Brewing Company. To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of William Seward, who purchased Alaska from Russia in 1867, this imperial stout draws its inspiration from Russian stouts and the state of Alaska. It is aged in a whiskey barrel and has notes of coffee beans and figs, as well as a wax dipped top and a barrel wood border surrounding the portrait. The illustrated label was designed as a collectable sticker that can be removed from the bottle, allowing customers to interact with the beer.

I created the illustration of William Seward.
